Family is in Town / Work

My cousins from out of state are going to be staying at my grandma's house for the week, through Christmas. My other cousins from San Antonio are coming for the day today to see the other cousin's since they haven't seen them in so long. I'm working this week but it will be mostly nothing. We get a half-a-day on Christmas Eve off all day on Christmas and the day after.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Webhost Change & New Blog layout

When I first purchase my webhost back in March or April of this year, it was very cheap with unlimited space. Yes, they say unlimited but there is a limit. Well I was happy with the webhost but after a few months of using it there support went away. NO support, NOTHING. I paid $10/yr not a month a year, that comes to $0.80 something cents a month for unlimited space for my website.

Now that looked strange but this company had been in business for years so I went ahead with it. But all-in-all a few days ago I tried to go to my site but it didn't show up. I had a backup so I was okay there but it was crap that they didn't tell me anything.

I'm with a new host now, JustHost.com. I paid for 1 year at $4.95 a month. So far I am happy with it. I've asked questions and they answered in no time, even in a live chat. It has a 30-day money back guarantee, os I could try and cancel anytime within 30 days. After some work I re-posted my blog and here it is. This is a update blog and it is great I have a new theme, and it looks great.

Well I'll write back later.

The weekend is here. Working on a client's desktop & notebook

Well the weekend is finally here it has been a long week. I took off Monday to take delivery of my NEW Toshiba Laptop, I had to sign for the package. I did unpack it but put it back up since I don't want to mess with it at the moment. I'll post the stats about it later.

At the moment I'm writing this I am working on a client's two computers one a desktop the other a notebook. I have a KVM switch to switch between video inputs from my two computers. KVM stands for Keyboard Video & Mouse, which allows a computer user to use only one keyboard, mouse & monitor.

I plan to stay up till midnight tonight to get the bulk of this work done. I'm mostly fixing whatever the problem the client has as well as making sure their computer is up-to-date with the OS and anti-virus software.

So I'll post again another day
Good Night

No work today, NEW laptop arrives Tomorrow!

I've been working for about 3 or 4 weeks straight now for about 12 hours a day 7 days a week @ our Grain elevator.

Well I went into work this morning around 8 o'clock and surprise, surprise nobody was there and the door to the office was locked. So I called around to my bosses and they said we were "FULL" so we couldn't take anymore grain in. "Nobody Told Me." So I went home after I found out.

I got to catch up with things around my house. My brother installed a new ceiling fan for me my bottom lights weren't working. I get my new laptop in the mail tomorrow which I am so excited about.

It's another Toshiba, you might notice the video on my second post to this blog site, entitled, "I'm getting this laptop." SWEET!!! On my old laptop I'm installing an open source OS called Ubuntu v8.04. Time to play with some linux.

Well later I'm tired and want to sleep.
