Just saw this article on twitter, Revisiting Windows 1.0: how Microsoft's first desktop gracefully failed. Today Windows 1.0 turns 27.
I still have a computer at my grandma's that runs Windows 3.1 although she is never in Windows she just boots into the DOS menu then goes into here letter typing program.
11-18-2012 -- Wii U Launch
Today the new Nintindo product launchs, Wii U. I don't have any plans on buying this at this time. Maybe in a few months I will consider buying the Wii U, if the price drops. My mom has the Wii she purchased from a friend she never uses it.

I first purchased my first Xbox back in 2008 from eBay, it was brand new for $109.

G4 Cancels "AOTS" & X-Play end of 2012
Saw this article on MSN homepage under the Entertainment section.
It seems to have all gone downhill from the time G4 took over Techtv in 2005. DirecTV dropped G4 from its line-up in 2010, which lost me as a subscriber of DirecTV & millions of other viewers.

One Year After Steve Jobs
It is hard to believe that it has been a whole year since Steve Jobs passing. A new apple phone the iPhone 4S came out shortly after his death then recently the iPhone 5 just got released this past September.

Happy Birthday to Mario Bros (NES).
Today Mario BROS was released on this day on September 13, 1985. I wasn't born yet until the end of 1986. My very first experience of playing Mario Bros on the NES was at my grandmother's house. My Aunt purchased the NES & purchased the games during a sale.
Now that was my aunts NES fine, I purchased my on ebay a few years ago I also have two boxed versions.
